Figueres revives the spirit of the 'Aplauso' TV show with a major musical production

The El Jardí Theater hosts this Sunday the premiere of 'La Juventud Baila...encara' featuring over twenty artists.

Actor Àlex Casanovas will host this Sunday, March 15th, the premiere of the show La Juventud Baila...encara at the El Jardí Theater in Figueres, a tribute to the musical hits of the 80s and 90s.

This production is a remake of the legendary Spanish Television show Aplauso. Led by Josep Massó and Laura Herrera, the show features twelve musicians, six singers, and nine dancers performing a completely live repertoire.

The show highlights the 1980 victory of the local dance team in the original TV contest. One of the winners was Josep Badosa, father of tennis star Paula Badosa. Tickets are available on the Figueres a Escena website.
