The educational project EvaLudens, promoted by the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council, extends its duration from three to five months to reinforce orality and the use of Catalan in classrooms.

The educational project EvaLudens, which aims to reinforce orality and the use of Catalan, has extended its presence in the educational centers of Vilafranca del Penedès. The initial duration of three months is being expanded to a total of five months of continuous activity, thanks to the support of the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council.
EvaLudens has established itself in the Penedès region as a key initiative that allows children to play, express themselves, and create in Catalan beyond the strictly academic sphere.
This cultural proposal uses professional performances of narration, glosa (improvised verse), romances, and popular and improvised song. Through these disciplines, students discover the richness of the oral tradition and the intangible Catalan heritage.
Since 2021, the project, also known as EVA (En Veu Alta), has positioned itself as a reference, demonstrating that orality and popular culture are living tools for the future of the language. So far, it has reached over 2,000 students from 13 educational centers in 5 municipalities.
