The Punt Òmnia center in La Seu d'Urgell concluded the year with a positive balance, recording nearly 2,800 uses and 266 participants, consolidating its role as a key tool for digital inclusion in the Alt Urgell region.

Over the last twelve months, the Punt Òmnia programmed fifty training activities, issuing 186 certificates to participants. The center increased its usage by 36%, strengthening its collaboration with local entities, groups, and educational centers to bring new technologies closer to the population.
This digital push is also reflected in the issuance of idCAT certificates in Alt Urgell, which reached a new maximum with 717 emissions this past year. Since this option opened in 2007, over 5,000 have been processed, maintaining a steady pace of at least 500 annually since the pandemic, helping to reinforce e-administration.
Among the notable initiatives, the Punt Òmnia de la Seu d'Urgell celebrates three years of collaboration with RàdioSeu, broadcasting short episodes that explain digital concepts and offer practical advice. Furthermore, the Esplai de la Gent Gran de la Seu organizes specific courses for those over 60 to learn how to complete online procedures, with modules starting on October 28 and November 18.
Simultaneously, the fight against the digital divide in the Alt Pirineu remains a priority. The spokesperson for Esquerra Republicana, Sara Bailac, defended a motion in the Senate to bring fiber optics to areas at risk of depopulation, while the Diputació de Lleida anticipates that public fiber optics will reach all municipalities by 2028.
