The Diputació de Tarragona and several municipalities in the Terres de l'Ebre region are promoting the territory as a top-level cycle tourism destination at the international fair FITUR in Madrid, from January 21 to 25.

The presence of the Terres de l'Ebre at FITUR, the international tourism fair in Madrid, aims primarily to position the area as a reference cycle tourism destination. The Diputació de Tarragona, through the Tourism Board, coordinates this participation to highlight the natural and sporting assets of the Ebro regions.
One of the main attractions to be presented to international tourism agents and professionals is the inauguration of the new section of the Via Verda de la Val de Zafan (Green Way), a crucial infrastructure for active and sustainable tourism. Major sporting events such as the Vuelta and the Clàssica de les Terres de l’Ebre will also be highlighted, underscoring the region's strong link with top-level cycling.

The promotion seeks to showcase the landscape, cultural, and gastronomic richness of the Terres de l'Ebre, a territory recognized for its biodiversity and sustainable tourism offering.

This joint promotion is organized through the Córner agreement by the Diputació de Tarragona, which facilitates the participation of local entities. Participating municipalities include Alcanar, Amposta, Ascó, l’Ampolla, la Ràpita, and Tortosa, along with the Baix Ebre Regional Council, the Terra Alta Regional Council, and the Tortosa Chamber of Commerce.
Specific events will be held during the fair, from January 21 to 25, to present the territory's cycle tourism potential to international professionals, aiming to attract new visitors and consolidate the Terres de l'Ebre as a sustainable and quality destination.
