The wide path leading to the Balcó de Montserrat and La Cadireta in Castellví de Rosanes will undergo repair works during the first weeks of November. The project, expected to last about fifteen days, focuses on clearing and concreting two damaged sections.

The planned works include the repair of two sections of the path, one near the Balcó de Montserrat and the other heading towards La Cadireta. These works will commence in the first week of November and are expected to take approximately fifteen days, weather permitting. Currently, the path is closed to vehicular traffic, except for municipal services and emergency vehicles, but it is a popular route for pedestrians and cyclists. Therefore, users are advised to plan alternative routes during the construction period.
The repair works involve clearing approximately 100 linear meters of the path in total. Once cleared, a colored concrete pavement will be applied, designed to minimize visual contrast with the rest of the path. Drainage channels will also be repaired to ensure proper water runoff.
The contract for the works has been awarded to Obres i Serveis Roig SA for an approximate amount of 27,900 euros (VAT included). This project is funded by the Sectoral Path Program of the Diputació de Barcelona.
