The Molins de Rei City Council has upgraded its digital platform using a 180,000 euro investment from Next Generation EU funds, integrating new services and accessibility improvements to streamline citizen interaction with the administration.

This modernization, financed through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, aims primarily to simplify administrative management. Key improvements include easier access to the portal from any device, whether fixed or mobile, and the implementation of biometric signature for in-person procedures at the Citizen Service Office.
The electronic headquarters now allows citizens to complete five new procedures entirely online via a web form. These include prior communication of works, curb registration, inscription in the population census, registration for public job selections, and applications for individual parking cards for people with functional diversity.
In addition to direct procedures, services offered by the Associació Oberta de Catalunya (AOC), such as Representa and Via Oberta, have been integrated to further streamline processes. Modules for managing subsidies and censuses have also been added, alongside a specific portal for suppliers to check the status of their invoices.
Finally, the platform update, accessible via the following link, includes a new application for submitting complaints and suggestions, aiming to foster smoother communication and better address the needs of the population in Molins de Rei.
