The Amposta City Council has activated the Corresponsables Project to reduce the price of reception and extracurricular activities in educational centers by 50%, facilitating family work-life balance.

The Corresponsables project, framed within the Temps per Cures (Time for Care) program, will reduce the cost of reception and extracurricular activities by 50% in both public and subsidized schools in Amposta. This deployment was made possible through a joint agreement between the City Council, educational centers, and the Associations of Families of Students (AFA).

"It represents a very important step forward for family reconciliation, as it reduces an economic barrier and facilitates access to reception services for more children."

The initiative has been well received by the centers. The director of the Soriano Montagut school, Víctor Arribas, noted that the measure “will be very good for family reconciliation and will probably increase the use of the service,” even though the prices managed by the AFA were already adjusted. The centers maintain autonomy in organizing reception schedules.
In parallel, the plan provides continuity and reformulates the municipal babysitting service to reach more families, as explained by the Councillor for Social Rights and Citizenship, Núria Ferré. The Temps per Cures program is funded by the Ministry of Equality with 76,000 euros until June 2026.
