The Lo Pati art center in Amposta has unveiled its 2026 program, a year where the Mediterranean will serve as the primary engine for generating new social and cultural imaginaries in Terres de l'Ebre.

Under the new leadership of Jaume Vidal, the facility in the Montsià region aims to strengthen its role as a space for artistic research and production. This year's program will involve seventy creators offering exhibitions, installations, festivals, and community actions.

"I see the mare nostrum as a shared space of mobilities, migrations, and hybrid narratives."

The season begins on March 13 with the installation Lo fil de la vida, a community art project coordinated by seamstress Anna Vizcarro. This initiative includes an Embroidery Marathon on March 14, inviting the public to participate in a twelve-hour collective textile creation.
Key highlights include the return of BIAM - Amposta Art Biennial, now in its 18th edition, and the Eufònic festival in July. The center will also join the Night of Museums for the first time on May 16.
