The inspectors of the Michelin Guide, known for its prestigious annual awards, update their application monthly with new recommended restaurants. These additions could, in the future, aspire to the coveted stars.
Among the twelve Spanish novelties this April, the Brichs restaurant, located in Falset, in the province of Tarragona, stands out. This establishment is led by a chef originally from El Perelló, who already holds a Michelin star for his restaurant Quatre Molins, located in Cornudella de Montsant.
Brichs now appears in the online version of the guide with the labels

and

. Critics have positively evaluated its facilities, the variety of its gastronomic offer —which includes à la carte options, an executive daily menu, and three tasting menus— and, especially, its

dish, which was the most highlighted by the inspectors.
Located south of Falset, near the local Bodega Cooperativa and with views of the Comarcal Castle-Museum, dedicated to the history of El Priorat, Brichs is the second restaurant from Tarragona to enter the Michelin Guide in the last two months. In March, the Restaurant Tossal Gros de Prenafeta had already achieved this distinction.
Currently, the Michelin Guide features eight restaurants with a Michelin star in the province of Tarragona, in addition to sixteen recommended restaurants and twenty-four more highlighted, such as Brichs or Tossal Gros. It also includes two establishments with the Bib Gourmand distinction, which recognizes the best value for money: Brots, in Poboleda (El Priorat), and L'Algadir del Delta, in Poble Nou del Delta (Amposta).
