The criticism begins with the accusation that the governing team has silenced the remaining political groups in the municipal bulletin for over nine months, despite it being the official communication tool closest to the citizens. This situation has forced the opposition to use other channels to present their views on municipal management.
The complaint focuses on internal disagreements and lack of planning that became public during the plenary session last September. In that session, the municipal group SOM-VEU proposed breaking the governing pact with the PSC unless the government's master lines and the municipal budget were presented within a maximum period of one month. The opposition argues that the government has failed to deliver these since the start of the mandate in May 2023.
There is no political project, there is no project or model for the town.
Adding to this crisis was the political disengagement of the ERC councilor, who, despite this, has maintained her councilor status and position within the current government. The opposition questions the efficiency and viability of the decisions made, which they describe as "few, improvised, and rushed."
The latest example of this inertia, according to the critical groups, is the budget for the year 2026. They describe it as continuist, offering no guarantee of service improvement or execution of investments, merely managing the day-to-day, thus demonstrating the lack of a clear political project for Castellbisbal.
