The program, which includes over 30 training actions, has the dual objective of improving the job prospects of attendees and responding to the need for qualified personnel in Sabadell's local economy. A significant part of the offer is occupational vocational training financed by the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC).
The council detailed that it has received a grant of over 600,000 euros for the development of these courses. Most training courses lead to an Official Professional Certificate and include internships in companies, allowing students to gain experience and expand their professional network.
The 2026 catalog covers specialties such as administration, commerce, IT, hospitality, health, electricity, and vehicle maintenance. New additions include courses in sanitary transfer and security in computer equipment. One highlighted program is administration with business simulation (SEFED), where students practice real tasks in a professionalized environment.
The City Council also emphasizes its commitment to Dual Vocational Training aimed at young people, especially in the industrial sector, with pathways combining theoretical training and employment contracts in sectors like the chemical and metallurgical industries. Furthermore, 'refresher' courses for workers and companies, as well as an extensive online offer, will continue.
Those interested in participating in the training programs can formalize pre-registration through the official Cal Molins website, via the Vapor Llonch APP, or in person at the center's facilities, located at carrer dels Calders, 32.
