The initiative, managed by the Commerce area of the Igualada City Council, closed the 2025 edition with a very positive balance. Despite being 13 days shorter than the previous edition, the economic impact remained the same, reaching an approximate global expenditure of 82,000 euros in the city's establishments.
In total, 63 businesses joined the campaign, five more than in 2024. Nearly 1,800 purchases were registered, with a more balanced distribution of consumption among participants, reinforcing the transversal nature of the iBons.
“"The iBons are a consolidated tool that generates a direct return to local commerce and allows us to connect with young audiences who might not usually shop at proximity stores."
The campaign targeted young people aged between 16 and 25, reaching a total of 5,540 people. Of these, 1,150 acquired iBons, exhausting 100% of the 5,714 available vouchers on December 30. The sectors with the highest presence included fashion and accessories, sports, leisure and culture, technology, home goods, and food.
