The fresh truffle market and local food products will be one of the central axes of the fair, featuring about twenty stalls located inside the municipal pavilion. This space will be open throughout Saturday and until noon on Sunday, January 18.
The program places special emphasis on showcookings, featuring top-level chefs. Attendees include Arnau París, known for the 3Cat program Cuines, and Rafel Múria, from the Quatre Molins restaurant, which holds a Michelin star. Both will demonstrate different applications of black truffle in cooking.
The Black Truffle Fair is a demonstration of the commitment of the Vimbodí i Poblet City Council to promote local products and the economy linked to the territory.
The gastronomic offering will be completed with guided tastings, including the pairing of artisan wines from the Rendé Masdeu winery with traditional cured meats from Ca la Cova, in addition to truffle tapas. One of the most anticipated moments will be the Truffle Dog Contest, scheduled for Sunday at noon.
