The docuseries Hospital de proximitat premiered its second season on Sunday, January 11 on La Xarxa, highlighting stories from the Gynecology and Obstetrics service of the Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva.

The new season, co-produced by TV Mataró and La Xarxa with the support of the Consorci Sanitari del Maresme, consists of 12 chapters that air every Sunday at 10 p.m. and are also available for online viewing.
The documentary series reflects the most intense and emotional moments of hospital life, from births to the final moments. This installment focuses on pregnancy and childbirth, including the follow-up of an expectant mother participating in the Corporació's aquatic physical activity program.

The series highlights a care model that combines professionalism, humanization, and respect for the woman's timing and decisions during the birthing process.

One of the season's highlights is the episode showing a water birth performed in the natural delivery room at Hospital de Calella. This chapter emphasizes the importance of respecting the woman's decisions throughout the process.
The first chapter of the second season is already available online on the La Xarxa platform. Furthermore, the first season of the docuseries remains accessible to a wider audience on La 2Cat and on RTVE Play.
