The 31st Gastronomic Exhibition of Les Garrigues, held from November 1 to December 14, concluded successfully, serving over 1,500 menus.

The 31st Gastronomic Exhibition of Les Garrigues, which took place from November 1 to December 14, closed with over 1,500 menus served, with projections reaching 1,600 due to high demand. This success occurred despite having fewer participating restaurants than the previous edition, demonstrating the growing interest in the region's local products.
The closing ceremony was held at the El Sindicat de Tarrés restaurant, gathering participating restaurateurs, municipal representatives, the director of the Patronat de Turisme de la Diputació de Lleida, Juli Alegre, and the president of the Consell Comarcal de les Garrigues, Antoni Villas.
A total of six restaurants participated this year: Cafè Terrall Restaurant, Restaurant Hostal Benet, Masia Les Garrigues, and El 9 Syrah (all four in Les Borges Blanques), El Sindicat de Tarrés (in Tarrés), and Les Cuines de la Llena (in La Pobla de Cérvoles). All establishments prepared exclusive menus featuring extra virgin olive oil as the central element and symbol of the territory.
Within the framework of the Exhibition, two new establishments, Les Cuines de la Llena and El Sindicat de Tarrés, were incorporated into the “Restaurant Verge Extra” quality distinction, created by the Consell Comarcal in 2021 to recognize the commitment to olive oil and local products. After thirty-one years, the Exhibition is established as a key tool for boosting gastronomic tourism.
