The 37th edition of the Festa del Brut i la Bruta will be held in Torà (Solsonès) on February 6 and 7, headlined by the group Els Catarres, merging historical tradition with contemporary musical offerings.

Organized by the Associació Cultural el Brut i la Bruta, the festival stands out for its ability to mix traditional acts with more contemporary proposals for all audiences, maintaining the spirit of its origins.
The musical lineup, in addition to Els Catarres, includes other prominent names from the Catalan scene such as Banda Neon, K-ZU, and Ambauka. Consolidated events like the Nit del Constantí i la Constantifarra are also maintained, adding character to the festive nights.
Traditional acts are the core of the celebration, including the parades of the giants Brut i la Bruta, the presence of the characters from the ancient Llordera, and the street procession with troupes, recreating the oldest elements of the festival.
The Festa del Brut i la Bruta traces its origins back to the Llordera festival, a celebration of Fat Thursday documented since at least the 17th century. After disappearing during the Civil War, it was recovered in the late 20th century, adapting to new popular sensibilities.
