The Municipal Children's Council and the Municipal Adolescents' Council in La Seu d'Urgell have agreed to prepare an anti-bullying prevention campaign to be implemented throughout the current academic year.

The agreement stems from the convergence of proposals between the city's two youth participation bodies. The initiative aims to raise awareness and take action against bullying, an issue that has recently been highlighted on the facade of the City Council.
The Municipal Adolescents' Council project will focus on tackling school harassment from three fundamental angles: the perspective of the observer, the victim, and the aggressor. These specific actions will be defined and developed in future working sessions during the academic course.
This initiative comes shortly after a banner was displayed on the facade of the La Seu d'Urgell City Council to show explicit rejection of school bullying. The action referenced the tragic suicide of a 14-year-old student in Seville who was suffering from bullying.
In addition to the anti-bullying campaign, the Municipal Children's Council has also submitted several requests to the City Council for improvements in the urban environment. These include the need to better control uncivil actions, traffic management, maintenance of playgrounds, and lighting, as well as the request to install a pedestrian crossing on the N-260 in Castellciutat.
