The Carn + Carn butcher shop in Sant Andreu, managed by José Íñiguez, is preparing for the Christmas campaign after selling nearly 9,000 handmade cannelloni last year to simplify festive meals.

The workshop located on Carrer Gran in Sant Andreu achieved a notable milestone during the previous Christmas season, when nearly 1,500 trays of cannelloni left its refrigerators. This equates to more than 9,000 units made entirely by hand, without using preservatives or additives.

"What people ask for the most, by far, is cannelloni. People want to eat well and not complicate their lives in the kitchen."

The success is based on quality and variety, offering three star options: the classic three-meat (beef, chicken, and pork), the chicken with caramelized onion and goat cheese, and the "jewel in the crown," the roast meat with truffle cream. The latter were among the best sellers last year and can be ordered via WhatsApp (649 23 52 25) or directly at the store.
Beyond cannelloni, Carn + Carn offers other successful prepared dishes, such as suckling pigs cooked at low temperature (between 72 and 74 °C for 13 hours), of which 48 out of 50 were sold already prepared last year. Stuffed free-range chickens and roasted beef also stand out.
